Form 990-ez part iiimission statementsustainable streets is a nonprofit organization committed to building healthy communities by encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to engage in active transportation for their everyday mobility needs. we carry out this mission through research, community plans and programs, and education on sustainable transportation alternatives, including walking and bicycling. sustainable streets works in partnership with researchers, volunteers, educators, advocates and community planners to make non-motorized transport an essential part of sustainable community stategies.990-ez pg 2 part iii line 28sustainable streets programs and services offer solutions that acknowledge the needs of society to move freely, gain access, communicate, trade and establish relationships without sacrificing other essential human or ecological values today or in the future.Accomplishments in 2014 are summarized below:the confident city cycling program served 63 attendees.The adult learn to ride program served 104 attnedees.The bicycle maintenance program served 87 attendees.
