Action Exchange

The purpose of the Action Exchange Fellows Program is to both enhance the skills and experience of development professionals and students in the United States, and to contribute to the environmental, social and economic poverty reduction efforts of Indian nonprofit institutions. Action Exchange Fellows (referred to as "ActEx Fellows") will initially be selected primarily from graduate programs in the United States. ActEx will recruit prospective fellows by advertising at University career and admissions offices. Applicants will be selected based on a range of factors and matched with Indian partner organizations to work as interns or employees for a period of time likely to be from three to twelve months. ActEx will work with ActEx Fellows to ensure they establish a mutually agreeable terms of reference with their Indian host organization.
