To "keep kids connected to nature"! this mission sounds simple but today on average 8-18 year olds spend 8 hours in front of or on an electronic device. with parents worried about "stranger danger and some kids not having access to nature due to an urban setting, the children's garden was created to provide a safe, whimsical and interactive outside space for children of all ages. at the children's garden we promote the magic of gardening, environmental awareness through our nature programs, literacy in our story time and creativity in our art programs. we encourage playing in the dirt!
