Mission of organization: transforming relationships between kids and parents experiencing divorce. goals: each child has a place to belong each child values academic success each child understands and applies the growth mindset each child develops positive mental and physical fitness health skills each child discovers their passions and purpose in life program services expenses 1: kids academy - using evidence-informed research, kids 24/7 strives to have social-emotional learning (sel) and problem-solving content that is current, relevant and meaningful to support kids, in title one or similar schools. kids academy scholars currently receive weekly, 45 minutes of small group active learning and discussion time on social-emotional topics. facilitated by counselors, educators, nurses or social work/counselor graduate student interns, topics revolve around the 5 casel competencies for sel. also offered is a nutritional snack, nutrition discussion and 45 minutes of rigorous fitness time with professional provider partners. we also provide weekly sel parent education (take home and electronic) and build community around a free monthly family dinner at sweet tomatoes, a healthy dining experience. kids 24/7 supports kids in low income families, year-round, with mental and physical fitness skills. we recogize parents are a child s first teacher and utilize a 2-gen approach. we provide social, emotional learning resources for families to build healthy habits at home and bring them together in a monthly family dinner to build relationships and community. since 2016, kids 24/7 served more than 450 kids and families through our programs. we have delivered approximately 43,000 direct service hours. program services expenses 2: dads academy - dads camp provides early childhood education to encourage an engaging relationship with children and for single fathers to receive support, practical education, and resources to make a lifelong, healthy commitment to their kids in the face of a father absent trend.
