The mission of united virginia enterprise foundation (incorporated as united virginia education fund, inc.) is to develop enterprises of under-resourced entrepreneurs through peer-to-peer support (social capital), mentorship and training (intellectual capital) and lending (financial capital). we operate as a social enterprise ecosystem builder, working to connect individuals to the appropriate community programs and resources. we also offer direct counseling to support the start-up and growth of purpose-driven enterprises as an affiliate partner of sea change. we operate the virginia chapter of the social enterprise alliance and produce training programs including a social enterprise accelerator program for under-resourced enterprise owners. we will produce two programs in 2025 with funds received in both 2024 and 2025.
