Primary mission is for youth to be considered viable to grow in the communities in which they live, and given an equal opportunity to serve, work and share in the development of those communities. The s.h.o.r.e. Project, inc. Has been organized and is operating for the purposes of: 1. Providing a safe place for young people to commune, learn, grow, share experiences and receive mentoring for personal empowerment; 2. Educating and training young people and, in so doing, emphasizing the importance of education, community development and job skills; 3. Connecting young people with a network of businesses and organizations within the pittsburgh region to provide opportunities to serve and work; 4. Supporting young people and restoring a sense of hope for their future; and 5. Developing young people who take pride in, and feel a sense of responsibility to, their communities.
