Write to ride is dedicated to the education, enrichment and empowerment of children in fauquier county, virginia and surrounding areas by offering opportunities to work with and ride horses. specifically the organization looks to identify exceptional at risk children and foster long term relationships with them. we believe that the interaction between horses and children can have a significant and lasting effect on the quality of the child's life, particularly by emphasizing healthy and nurturing relationships, along with the mastery of new skills. it is our goal that the combination of support and opportunity in a unique setting serve to broaden their range of knowledge, increase confidence and build self esteem.
