The germantown conservancy, inc. Is organized and operates exclusively for charitable purposes, and does not promote pecuniary gain or profit, incidental or otherwise. As a community development corporation, the primary mission of the germantown conservancy, inc. Is to obtain conservatorship pursuant to appointment by the philadelphia court of common please under act of november 26, 2008,p.l. 1672 no. 135, the abandoned and blighted property conservatorship act, 68 p.s. 1101-1111,to promote economic development in the economically distressed neighborhood of germantown,through rehabilitation of abandoned and blighted property in the 9th, 12th, 22nd and 59th ward of the cityand county of philadelphia ("germantown"), in order to eradicate urban blight and promote the relief of poverty, which results from such urban blight. No parts of the organization's charges directly benefitany individual, or are any employees unresonablly compensated.
