Camp ahavs torah, inc. was organized exclusively for educational, religious, and charitable purposes. the organization operates a summer camp for children with the objective of ensuring continued religious instruction during the summer months. for many children even from religious families with regular religious instruction during the school year, there is no provision made by the parents for continued religious instruction during the summer months , which can lead to regression in religious knowledge and observance. similarly, the summer months when children are off from school but parents continue to work result in unsupervised activities and lack of control tht can lead to children getting in with the wrong crowd and drifting towards unacceptable activities merely out of boredom. the camp seeks to combat both these problems for both its campers and even its junior counselors.
