The new york state bicycle racing association (herein refered to as "nysbra") was formed in 2007 in order to serve the needs of the bicycle racing community in the state of new york. nysbra advances the sport of cycling in the state of new york by providing funding to support new racers enter the support by providing grants to assist with skill development, promote the increased participation of women and juniors, provide training for officials and support the new york state championship event. nysbra also provides funding to high performing athletes to assist with their continued develop as racers in the sport.
