Specifically, the purpose of gvcfsc is to mobilize the people of san diego county to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfires through prevention, planning and education in order to eliminate or significantly reduce the fire hazards caused by accumulated ground fuel in san diego county, to enhance public awareness of the fire hazards, to seek and encourage the support and co-operation of our community and the city of san diego in an effort to reduce the wildfire danger we live in daily
