To encourage understanding and appreciation of the value of preserving history and the heritage of the past for future generations. to preserve, protect and make available to the public; artifacts, histories, pictures, stories and any other materials dealing with the past history of north ogden city and the surrounding areas. to provide and support civic activities and projects that will further the knowledge of community's past and pioneer heritage. to serve as a medium through which citizens of the community may become acquainted with and share their enthusiasm, expertise of the history, artisty and culture of the area. to attract bequests and gifts of artifacts, collections, money, and other materials, to further the purpose and objectivies of the otganization, beyond the resources of the museums budget.
