Our vision is to see the lives of children and their families who are struggling from the ravages of poverty, abuse, neglect, and hopelessness restored and the bondages broken through the love of god. whereby men, women and children can be free to fulfill the plans for which they were created. we realize that at some time in our lives we all need some help. over the past 5 years we have seen a disturbing trend whereby children are having more trouble at school, with friends, and even at home. yet working with children we have seen that with mentoring and other supportive resources they are eager to change the trajectory of their life. the benefits to the children, their families, and the communities in which they live is priceless. this results in a reduction in school drop outs, in teen pregnancies, in unemployment, and in generational poverty. the streetlight mission will not deny anyone access to services because of their beliefs, race, religion or sexual preference. people do not n
