The center for community academic success partnerships (an illinois not-for-profit corporation) (ccasp) was created in 2007. ccasp works toward the prevention and eradication of juvenile delinquency through the development and support of local community self help efforts. ccasps philosophy is to improve the quality of neighborhood life with a special focus on solving problems faced by young people and their families. academic assistance and enrichment programs, leadership and community service activities, life skill development programs, recreational, arts, parent education and family support activities are conducted at selected community learning centers for disadvantaged youth and their parents in the out of school time hours. in addition, ccasp runs a violence prevention program.
