Lx is especially known for its expertise in experimental learning - creating award-winning, hands-on learning experiences for children, such as exchange city and earthworks, where students actively discover and apply knowledge in real-life situations. In addition, lx is recognized as a learning provider of consulting services in the areas of experimential learning cirriculum, strategic planning, training & staff development. Lx entered into an agreement for another non-profit to run the programs as of 11/16/2007. Form 990-ez, part iii, line 28, program service accomplishments: exchange city, earthworks, and curiosity camps - science and environmental education programs for elementary school students, serving 20,000 students in the metropolitan kansas city area. Learning exchange has entered into agreements with another non-profit organization to run it9s programs beginning november 2007.
