The lewisburg cooperative preschool is a non-profit ministry of christs evangelical lutheran church in lewisburg, pa. it was established in 1983 to provide the community with a quality preschool experience, which includes parents in the education process. our program is geared toward the development of the whole child, including physical, emotional, social, and intellectual aspects. its purpose is to foster an understanding of self, others, and the world. in a warm and caring atmosphere, self-esteem, self-discipline, and self-motivation are encouraged. parents are an integral part of our program and are free to discuss any concerns with the teachers. families are encouraged to share hobbies and interests with the class. suggestions for and participation in field trips are welcomed. the cooperative nature of our school allows parents, grandparents, or other special family members to help in the classroom as your time permits.
