Association of Program Directors
The association of program directors in internal medicine (apdim) was formed to advance medical education by aiding program directors of internal medicine residency programs accredited by the accreditation council for graduate medical education. Apdim conducts conferences to share and learn about residency training and to discuss the management problems in departments of internal medicine. The association also publishes manuals, pursues policy initiatives, and provides professional development to its members. Apdim serves members throughout the united states and canada. Effective july 1, 2012 the apdim merged with aaim and effective june 30, 2013 all assets had been transferred to aaim.
