The amateur advocate association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1983 as the pebblebrook junior high football association. in efforts to provide after-school activities, mentorship & resources for communities of at-risk youth we realized there are four elements that need comprehensive support for positive youth development: a viable network of volunteers, affordable facility access, volunteer training & a broad community based plan. our organization has sustained ongoing success in these areas due to our corner stone programs: association development, structured recreation implementation, life skills development, and civic involvement initiative.
