The torrington police activities(ne athletic) league, inc.(p.A.L.) is a charitable 501c3, whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of over 850 local children ages 5-18 in the northwest corner of connecticut through programs under the guidance of law enforcement, business leaders, educators and community volunteers to keep kids in school and to deter violence. we offer a number of recreational programs and sports clinics, most notably our intramural and travel basketball programs. we provide mentoring through our p.A.L. scholar program and we offer educational programs on important social topics including bullying, internet safety, training on when to call an officer and how to respond when an officer is called. we also host special community events to help build strong relationships between officers and our community and we collaborate with other organizations on summer camps. our website offers more information on our most up to date activities: www.Torringtonpal.Com. our we
