William B Kessler Memorial Hospital INC

William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital was established in 1964 to provide for the care of patients suffering from illness, injury or diseases through permanent inpatient acute facilities for the diagnosis, detection, and treatment of such illnesses, injuries or disease. In concert with the provision of inpatient services, outpatient and/or in-the-home care or self-care programs shall be provided. Provision of educational activities related to rendering care of those who are infirmed, and to the general establishment, promotion, and maintenance of health within the community serviced shall be included as well. On March 12, 2009 William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital ceased operating as a full service hospital. Since March 13, 2009 William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital has leased space to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center to provide emergency room, radiology and lab services to the Hammonton, NJ and surrounding communities as part of the hospital shut down.
