The mission of the Partnership for Healthcare Excellence is to promote and carry out the education of the public about the variation in health care, to encourage consumers to become more informed and involved in their own health care, and to mobilize consumers to become advocates for the kind of overall change necessary to improve the quality of the health care system. SInce its founding in 2007, the Partnership has engaged in a multifaceted campaign throughout Massachusetts as well as grassroots campaigns in three target markets.
