Mission

Tejas is dedicated to providing community members with the tools necessary to create sustainable, environmentally healthy communities by educating individuals on health concerns and implications arising from environment.

TEJAS established partnerships across various issues to collaborate and minimize harm, ultimately finding solutions thhat protect community health and wellbeing. Programming at Tejas works strategically to engage decision-makers and inform them of the real life impacts their decisions have on our lives through storytelling. As our stories intertwine with labor, educators, social workers, and faith leaders, we weave a larger picture that involves all aspects of life, including that of our Mother Earth, which is often sacrificed for superficial gains.
