IRS 990 Nonprofit Profile
Houston Southwest Heat Volleyball
Houston Southwest HEAT Volleyball is a non-profit junior's volleyball club that was created in 2006 in an effort to provide Houston and Fort Bend juniors a place to enhance their volleyball skills while building competitive athletes who will compete against Houston's finest. We strive to teach our juniors the value of TEAMWORK; the importance of being competitive yet staying true to MORAL VALUES; how to communicate with authority figures and to learn to work on conflict resolutions as young adults. We also strive to keep our cost as low as possible. We only charge the amount needed for a team to compete and participate in Juniors USA volleyball. This enables many parents of the participants to be able to afford our services and provides an opportunity for their daughters to play, advance their skills and possibly be seen by college scouts.
