In particular, dijo will provide an outlet for historical and other dramas by well-known and emerging playwrights, plays which address the public interest, and also will provide audiences with greater exposure to theater by presenting luncheon staged readings of a variety of plays with an emphasis on comedy. In addition, dijo will educate elementary, high school and college students, and other inquiring minds in the importance of contemporary theatre.
