IRS 990 Nonprofit Profile
New Beginnings for Children
To support, for the public benefit, children that are in need or at risk to be abused, neglected, and harmed by the adults in contact with them. We try to focus locally on areas that are lacking in resources to adequately protect children. We continue to work with local NGOs and agencies to pool limited resources.Supported additional dental/medical care that is not covered through various agencies, but we feel that these procedures are important to the recovery physically and emotionally of abused children such as restoritive dental work, plastic surgery and other procedures that inhance self confidence building in these children.Provide prizes to programs working with at risk children to help encourage their participation in their respective programs. We have provided sporting event tickets, theatrical productions produced locally as well as touring shows, with a strong bent to the arts.
