Our primary mission support a cure for diabetes in the next 3 yearsnew generation foundation was established in 2003 to support bold new initiatives that promote access to opportunity for young people. we have supported programs as diverse as a global online editorial cartoon contest to fight corruption, which robs young people of opportunity, and an air medical mission in southern africa to improve the health of mothers and children, the most basic prerequisite for the pursuit of opportunity.We are now focused on curing juvenile diabetes. we support what we believe to be the most promising near-term cure strategy yet developed creating and implanting a living cell bio-artificial pancreas in diabetics (see graphic), without the use of harmful immunosuppression drugs. this development is based on nasa-derived technology discovered by physicist-astronaut dr. taylor wang. the technology invented by dr. wang is based on the physics of fluid centering in microgravity discovered by him durin
