The la sierra university foundation was established to strengthen and nurture ties between the university and the surrounding communities. By soliciting advice and support from business, politial and educational leaders outside the immediate university family. The foundation's goal is to better promote and integrate the university's mission and resources into the life of the community, while at the same time providing additional support to the university. The foundation also exists to provide the community with an effective tool to participate more directly in the life and mission of the university, and to more fully utilize the many resources of the university.
