Friends Of The Bach Childrens Chorus INC
The friends of the bach children's chorus is a support organization for the nazareth college bach children's chorus. encouraging young people by sharing our love of music with them is our primary purpose. we provide material support in the form of office staff, communications, practice materials, awards, accompanists and other logistical needs. our support of the chorus has allowed the chorus to further the musical education of 51 students. the students have the opportunity to perform each year with professional orchastras and musicians of the highest caliber. the children receive instruction in music theory and vocal singing techniques, as well as exposure to a repertoir that is not available in our public school setting. singing in foreign languages facillitates the children's future ability to learn to speak these languages. the number of people benifited not only includes the enrolled children but also our audiences as well.
