Midatlantic bonsai societies inc (mabs) was created for the sole purpose of producing a public 3-day weekend bonsai festival mid-april of every year to display and teach the art of bonsai through lecture/demonstrations, workshops and bonsai exhibits and critiques. we hire world famous master bonsai artists to give lecture/demonstrations, workshops and critiques. excess funds are distributed to the 11 sponsoring bonsai societies to fund their continuing efforts in training and educating interested persons in the art of bonsai.
