Club members and veterinarians instruct the public on the following: educational programs: 1.different types of cats there are and what type of cat suits various people 2.proper nutrition for cats 3.first aid practices fpr cats 4.groomingof cats 5.diseases cats are susceptible to 6.the prevention of diseases such as feline aids, rabies, etc. Other programs: 1.the club follows the guidelines of the aspca with regard to the neutering of cats. The club helps prevent the indisciminate breading of cats. 2.at our annual show we provide exhibit space at no cost to animal shelters and other animal welfare organizations to show their cats that are up for adoption. 3.the club donates excess funds to the following types of organizations: a.animal shelters b.animal welfare organizations c.nationally recognized feline health research projects.
