The association for the help of autistic persons (ahap) is organized exclusively for people diagnosed with autism. its focus is charitable; inclusive of such purposes is the making of contributions to autistic related organizations that are exempt groups under section 501(c)(3)of the internal revenue code. ahap will provide financial assistance for the establishment, maintenance and support of autistic residential facilities and to utize these sites as a community resources offering, offering education, vocational and community-based referrals and programs for autistic persons and their families. ahap will conduct fundraising activities through golf outings, entertainment (i.E. comedy/magic nights) dinners and dinner/dances, as well as, receipt of contributions for business, family and friends. it is ahap's mission via proactive fundraising to contribute to those entities that will provide the support base to battle and eventually overcome this devastating developmental disability. as
