We were formed out of what was previously known as the Civic League. The Civic League converted the funds generated from the sale of the building at 214 Concord Street to a fund which was dedicated to the people of Framingham. The original Civic League charter, which was written in 1913, indicates that the organization will support the civic, educational, recreational, charitable and benevolent interests of Framingham and its people.
