Specific objectives include: shifting away from plastic consumption and waste; reducing carbon pollution; improving access to, and appreciation of, local and plant-based food sources; building resilient neighborhoods; reducing litter; and restoring habitat. Our activities include public presentations, conferences, web-based publications and video, clean-up days, tabling at events, and gardening. Monthly and seasonal retreats, incorporating meditation, education, and action planning, are staples for our local chapters.
