The Board further discussed, that the equine therapy programs can use only horses which are specifically trained for such purpose and that these horses are in short supply. Consequently, the Board determined that it is in the best interest of the Foundation to CHANGE IT'S MISSION AND OPERATIONS from operating an equine therapy program for disabled children to operating a horse rescue that will train and rehabilitate horses for such programs.
