The center also maintains a public children's toy and resource library and can connect families with local and state agencies dedicated to creating a safe environment for all children. The child development programs serve approximately 15,000 children. These programs are funded by grants from the california state department of education. The county of los angeles, through the california department of education, funds the ccfs' stage 1 calworks program acic, caa, first five and other programs.
