Our research provides a solid scientific foundation for public policy actions to reduce or prevent significant numbers of future pd cases via protecting the public from exposure to chemicals that have been proven to increase the risk of contracting pd. Clinical investigations also include early detection strategies and methods for delaying or preventing the onset of pd and related movement disorders.\n\nWorld-class care: at the parkinson's institute, you are a partner, not just a patient. You have a team of parkinson's disease (pd) experts who will work with you and your family to create a personalized care plan. Our partners are also expected to play an active and educated role in their care.
