Cdta hosted three crew trainings, one two day trail skills workshop (attended by over 40 volunteers), one crew chef training (attended by 10 volunteers) and one dutch oven training session (attended by 6 volunteers). In total, over 1125 volunteers contributed 23,004 hours of labor worth a value of $479,633 in volunteer labor to the cdnst in 2010. This work equals the equivalent of the contribution of 11 full time employees.cdta also completed mapping the trail in new mexico and released the colorado map book.\n\nPublic outreach and education: over forty youth corps members from the rocky mountain youth corps, southwest conservation corps, and montana conservation corps worked along the trail in six locations across new mexico, montana, wyoming and colorado and contributed 10,736 hours of labor toward the completion of the cdnst.
