We have an in-house immigration attorney as well as a criminal attorney. We also provide immigration workshops that help with daca applications, citizenship applications, and visa applications. We have a doj certified board member and in-house translator. Crusaders's largest program is our legal watchdogs who are present in court proceedings frequently keeping updates on ccap cases to make sure everyone receives due process. Crusaders of justicia is the first non-profit to provide jailhouse communication services throughout three northeast wisconsin counties. The cost of communication between detainees and either their families or legal representation has skyrocketed since the implementation of the privatized communication systems. Crusaders of justicia provides assistance in bridging that gap to make sure all detainees are treated with respect and dignity by providing a free hotline and email correspondence for anyone that is detained.during this global pandemic, outreach and in-person services has been next to impossible. Utilizing our pop-up pantry crusaders has been successful in providing assistance and communications on how to connect to other essential resources.
