divide is large: in dallas alone, where we currently focus, there are 63,774 households that do not have access to broadband service (city of dallas affordable connectivity program enrollment, january 2024). 2) it has become a barrier to employment and advancement: the national skills coalition (nsc), in collaboration with the atlanta federal reserve bank, reports that 92 percent of jobs require at least one digital skill, and that one-third of workers do not have the foundational skills necessary to secure employment (closing the digital skill divide, 2023). 3) this is urgent, as technology continues to advance with more opportunities and resources moving online. those caught in this digital divide are falling further behind.","year":2023,"name":"CARDBoard
