During this fiscal year itcli funded apprentice's and transit bus repairers, with training in apprentice wheelchair, apprentice brake and air suspension, apprentice steering, transmission, and aluminum tig welding which advanced the technical training needed by technicians. Educational data systems inc. Has completed the curriculum design and development of the schematics, diagnostics, hybrid and emissions modules which was identified by a gap analysis and prioritized by sme's. This curriculum is being used to supplement existing classes in bus, and in light rail. The diagnostics class is being taught as a standalone course and it is providing much needed diagnostics skill for electromechanics. These four courses have provided a much needed bridge for uta to close the gap on new technology which is pervasive in the industry, the validation of these courses against the industry standards supports our continued growth.
