This percentage has been higher on previous year tax returns however our results this fiscal year were impacted by the global pandemic. We were unable to build during the pandemic and so did not actively seek donations in that time period. The grants received for the five fiscal years ending 6 30 21 are not from one family but instead from several local estates and trusts. The organization has been in existence for 35 years and has built more than 30 homes on the Mendocino Coast with applications for ownership of each home being open to all low income individuals living on the Mendocino Coast. Funds collected on the mortgages are in turn used to build additional homes for low income individuals who reside in the Mendocino Coast Area.
