More than 70% of 2011 program graduates are clean, sober and employed today. In partnership with the rutgers njaes master gardeners of hunterdon and somerset counties, a group of community volunteers, anderson house residents planned and cultivated a large vegetable, herb and flower garden with raised beds. The garden yielded a wide variety of fresh vegetables and herbs that the residents learned to use in cooking, fresh flowers to brighten their home and share with family and guests, and countless hours of healthy recreation and leisure. An enhanced, expanded support program for family members of anderson house residents, which include a more robust family education program, multiple individualized family counseling sessions, and support for family memebers throught a resident's stay. In partnership with the rutgers njaes master gardeners of hunterdon and somerset counties, a group of community volunteers, anderson house residents planned and cultivated a large vegetable, herb and flower garden with raised beds. The garden yielded a wide variety of fresh vegetables and herbs that the residents learned to use in cooking, fresh flowers to brighten their home and share with family and guests, and countless hours of healthy recreation and leisure. An enhanced, expanded support program for family members of anderson house residents, which include a more robust family education program, multiple individualized family counseling sessions, and support for family memebers throught a resident's stay.
