technology industry in order to increase the number of girls/young women entering the technology workforce. part iii, line 29-exempt purpose achievements: our second program is chicktech: career. in chicktech: career, our objective is to provide education, support, and a community for women who are entering the technology workforce or who are already a part of the workforce. we ran this program in 3 cities: new york city, seattle, and portland, oregon. in addition to some smaller educational events, we ran a conference called act-w (advancing the careers of technical women). this conference ran for two days in portland and one day in seattle. the conferences included career-focused sessions, networking, technical workshops, resume and interview help, and a career fair. the approximate number of people served by this program was
