oregon (\"fbo\") is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 by five major oregon foundations committed to working collectively. from 2006-2020, fbo operated as the \"chalkboard project,\" focused primarily on improving k-12 public education through initiatives that supported the educator workforce. in 2020, the organization adopted a new mission, vision, and relaunched under the original name
