OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Safe Place - Safe Place is designed to provide safe and immediate help for runaway, homeless and in-crisis youth. Safe Place provides the opportunity for teens to take the initiative in getting help. The majority of cases, teens receive crisis intervention counseling abd referral for the family, and in some instances, emergency shelter care is provided with parental permission. Project Safe Place is a resource available to any youth experiencing abuse, neglect, social or family problems with which he or she is unable to cope.
