The Wound Care Program at Harrison Community Hospital is dedicated to diagnosing and treating a variety of wounds. Our doctors and nurses work together with primary care physicians to establish an individualized plan of care, helping patients regain an optimal quality of life. The Harrison Community Hospital Home Health Agency can assist patients to recover at home during an illness or after a hospital stay. Patients can receive professional nursing care, physical therapy, and home health aides, as the doctor's treatment plan prescribes. Medicare certified and approved and licensed by the State of Ohio, the Progressive Care Unit can accommodate residents for Skilled Care. Private and semi-private rooms are available. Reasonable rates for quality care in a hospital setting. CPR classes, following American Heart Association guidelines, are held monthly on the third Monday and Tuesday, except during the month of December. The Nutritional Services Department offers counseling for all dietary concerns. A Registered Dietician can help with low-fat/low-sodium diets, diabetic meal plans, cardiac diets and general healthy eatining programs.
