The total er visits for 2010 was 2,170 with 7% of those patients being admitted to the hospital. Since the hospital does not have an icu or surgery, a large percent of the er patients need to be transferred to other facilities. 55% of all patients seen in the er have commercial insurance, 14% have medicare, 13% have medicaid, and 18% are private pay.\n\nLab: nye regional medical center operates a full laboratory with 24 hour staffing to include four technicians. Since the hospital does not have an icu or surgery, a large percent of the er patients need to be transferred to other facilities. 55% of all patients seen in the er have commercial insurance, 14% have medicare, 13% have medicaid, and 18% are private pay.\n\nLab: nye regional medical center operates a full laboratory with 24 hour staffing to include four technicians. Our lab includes the following lab equipment: streck esr auto plus, horiba abx micros 60, horiba abx pentra 60 c+, siemens/dade xpand plus, sysmex ca560, roche avl opti, epocal, biosite triage meter, bayer clinitek 50, and nikon eclipse d400 microscope.
