THE ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN GIVEN A 30-YEAR LEASE ON AN ABANDONED SCHOOL BUILDING BY THE CITY OF ZAGREB WITH THE GOAL OF CONVERTING IT TO A COMMUNITY CENTER AND HOME FOR AUTISTIC ADULTS. WITH AN AREA OF 2,500 SQ FT, THE CENTER WOULD PROVIDE HOUSING FOR SIX ADULTS AND COMMUNAL AREAS. THE CENTER WOULD ALSO HAVE WORKSHOPS AND AN AGRICULTURAL AREA ON THE SURROUNDING 2 ACRE PLOT PROVIDING RESIDENTS WITH ASSISTED EMPLOYMENT.
