Further outreach to nebraska communities was accomplished through mail, telephone, email, social media and website.\n\nCollaboration with the state historic preservation office, the university of nebraska, the state departments of roads and economic development, the nebraska state historical society and the mountains/plains office of the national trust for historic preservation to promote advocacy, education and outreach with respect to historic preservation in nebraska. During the year, heritage nebraska provided technical assistance to eleven towns, counties or regions to: secure grant funding for historic properties, organize meetings to encourage collaboration in preservation activities, provide support for preservation activities and promote historic points of interest.
