Vincent charity medical center.cccs also operates 8 head start sites throughout cuyahoga county. The program services children from three to five years of age. Both full and part day classes are available. Family centers provide community-based services that promote the well-being of children and families. Opportunities also exist for day camping, outdoor education, and family camp.\n\nOlder adults - catholic charities community services is committed to serving older adults who need support and assistance. Various levels of service are offered depending on client needs and geographic location. Services include home visitation, socialization, hot meals, transportation, health screening and case management. Staff members identify and coordinate services to which older adults are referred. They also advocate for seniors as necessary to ensure that seniors' needs are being met.\n\nBehavioral healthbehavioral health services are designed to provide high quality mental health services to individuals and families throughout the eight counties. Services include marital and couple counseling, family counseling, parent education classes, anger management classes and domestic violence services. Clients range in age from pre-school through older adults. They vary in racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and problem areas range from relatively minor issues like adjusting to an unexpected change in life to problems associated with severe mental illness.\n\nEmployment and training - the employment and training program assists clients with multiple barriers to employment. The program works beyond the hiring process to ensure newly employed workers continue to fulfill their employers' needs. Newly placed employees are supported with a variety of follow-up services during their transition to work. Services offered through the employment and training program include vocational skills assessment, job readiness training, job placement/job retention, career advancement support workforce development training and case management.cccs also operates an adult day care center in summit county, primarily utilized by seniors and the disabled. Clothing is provided to help clients gain greater access to education and employment opportunities. Basic needs assistance is provided to individuals needing immediate and short term assistance such as rent, bus tickets, medication, housing or utility payments.
